FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL LAST MINUTE?
We require a 24 hour cancellation notice for regular hair services in order to avoid a cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations could result in a cancellation fee, which would be a full charge of the appointment booked.
DO YOU GIVE REFUNDS?
No refunds on services completed at our salon, we offer complimentary fixes within 7 days of service completion.
DO I NEED TO CHANGE MY CLOTHES BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
We are not responsible for any damage that may occur during your salon service. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you bring a change of clothes and/or utilize our robes.
WHAT IS CUSTOMARY TO TIP IN THE SALON?
Gratuity is left to your discretion, but we cannot add gratuity on a credit card. Our stylists accept cash (in pre-labelled envelopes provided at the front desk) and Venmo for tips. In NYC, it is customary to tip 20% of the service price to a salon professional. Tipping is encouraged after receiving a complimentary service such as a Bang Trim. Tipping the assistant of your stylist is also greatly appreciated.
DO YOU TAKE DEPOSITS?
Some services that require multiple hours and/or multiple services will require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit. Contact us to find out if you would need to leave a deposit.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE OR CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
We adhere strictly to the following Cancellation Policy: In order to maintain the quality of our services, and out of respect for our clients' and stylists' time, we require a 24 hour advance notice to change or cancel an appointment. If this is not provided, or if you are a no-show, you will be charged the full cost of
the booked service.
Appointment confirmations and reminders are provided as a courtesy. Not receiving them or overlooking details of your appointment do not exempt a last minute cancellation or no-show.
Please arrive on time to your appointment. Late arrivals of 30 minutes or more will result in your appointment being cancelled and a no-show charge of the full cost of the booked service.
Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis, but not for issues regarding work emergencies, childcare, traffic/transit, and out-of-town travel. Please understand that while some things may be out of your control, we are only responsible for your experience
inside the salon.
